Queen Susan, The Gentle, Queen Susan of the Horn

Susan is (1928-1949) is the eldest Pevensie sister. Incredibly beautiful and a talented archer, Susan is sought after by many rich and powerful men during her reign in Narnia. Later, upon her return to Narnia during Prince Caspian, Aslan tells her that Peter and she will not return to Narnia ever again because they are too old. Upon her return to England for the final time, Susan begins to convince herself that Narnia was just a game and forgets about it. She spends some time in the United States with her parents while her siblings die in a train accident.

In Narnia during The Last Battle, Peter says that Susan 'is no longer a friend in Narnia' and Jill Pole states that '[Susan is] interested in nothing now-a-days except nylons and lipstick and invitations.' However, this isn't to say that Susan couldn't return to Narnia when she died.

Susan is played in the 2008 films by Anna Popplewell and Sophie Winkleman.
